This study was done to analyze to structure of factors and gender difference far general motor ability between male and female bowlers. The study was done to create a factor model to define the actual condition of factors which was analyzed and abstracted, and to compose a test battery to make an evaluation index for general star ability. There were 40 bowlers ire each group as subject. The obtained results were as follows: 1. The factor structure of general motor ability 1) The structure of factors of male bowlers were composed of 6 factors, they were: ①Coordination of gross body factor ② Muscular endurance - explosive strength factor ③ Static flexibility factor ④Balance factor ⑤ Dynamic flexibility factor and ⑥Whole body endurance factor 2) The structure of factors of female bowlers were composed of 6 factors, they were: ① Strength factor ② Endurance factor ③Agility factor ④Flexibility factor ⑤ Balance factor and ⑥Coordination factor 2. Factor estimation of general motor ability & composition of teat battery 1) The factor estimation for making a clear scope which defines the six abstracted, analyzed factors for male and female bowlers were made through the estimation equation of factors which were decided with elements which were factor loads to be connected. 2) Composition of the Test Battery Through the estimation equation of factors. Among the elements which contributed to the estimate of factor, after considering the factor loads. the practicality, the reliability and the validity for each factor, In each factor, one item was selected, and test battery were composed as follows. (1) Vest battery male bowlers: ①Zigzag dribble ②Sit-ups ③ Trunk extension ④Board balance ⑤Twist and touch ⑥1000m distance running (2) Test battery for female bowlers: ① Vertical jump ②1000m instance running ③Zigzag dribble ④ Twist and touch ⑤Board balance ⑥Figure 8 duck 3) Composition of the rating scale The rating scale of factors was composed $quot;regression equation of factor estimation$quot; with factor scores using "C" index.
