The purpose of this study was to estimate one-repetition maximum(1-RM) by multi-circumference in healthy male adults. 50 male adults were performed 1RM test in nine weight training machines (leg press, leg extension, leg curl, abdominal, chest press, shoulder press, arm curl, latpull down, long full) and seven circumference(forearm, biceps, chest, abdominal, hip, thigh, calf). Circumference was measured before 1RM test. The data analyzed correlation 1RM and circumference and also multi-regression analysis used for development of regression equations to predict one repetition maximal strength. The result was shown that men``s abdominal equation was [-16.01+(BMI X 2.80)+(abdominal X -0.70)+(thigh X -0.49)+(hip X 0.92), r2: 0.428, p: 0.000) and women``s leg press was [-63.44+(BMI X 4.33)+(abdominal X -0.77)+(thigh X 0.44)+(calf X 2.23), r2: 0.333, p: 0.000]. In conclusion, the multi-regression equations by circumference on this study may be predicted available accuracy to 1-RM of weight training for men and women adult.
