Last year’s execution of character education law, as well as an increase in crimes against morality, is a social and educational concern of this time. At this point, examining Christian university character curricula and receiving insights from it are timely appropriate tasks. Handong Global University, Seoul Women"s University, and Baekseok University are exemplary at implementing Christian character education, in that they apply its principles and the character programs help with university evaluations such as the selection of ACE and CK projects by the Ministry of Education. This researcher reviewed character education in those three universities and identified principles of character education based on their programs. Christian character programs should be based on the school’s mission, spiritual development, informal curriculum, parental support, faith-community support, and the professors’ modeling. Six semester-long professor-student team projects at Handong University and camp training at the residential college of Seoul Women’s University are representative. The more our Christian schools practice character education, the more our society becomes livable, and the kingdom of God becomes nearer.
