Although the demands in the world’s textile/fashion markets, resulting from the improvement of the income level, the changes of the lifestyles, and the growths of the emerging markets, has been continuing to be expanded, it is forecast that the international competition will get even fiercer due to the production and the expansion of the exports of the textile by China, Vietnam, etc. As a result, in order to continuously strengthen the qualitative capabilities of the textile/fashion industries of Korea, the more aggressive investments in the R&D field are necessary. This research analyzed the special qualitative characteristics and the special quantitative characteristics of the researches that have been conducted recently in Korea. As a result, it appeared that the researches on the ICT, a topic which has been rising up as a core topic in the textile/fashion fields recently, have been showing the decreasing trend instead excluding the fashion marketing field based on 2014. It is conjectured that such a trend is a result of the alienation phenomenon in the fashion field resulting from the overall economic recession of Korea. Although, until now, the fusion researches that require the high-tech technologies in the textile/fashion fields have been attaching the importance to the highly functional textile field, the problem that must be solved urgently is that, in the future, the more technologies in the ICT field must be fused with the textile/fashion fields.
