Condensation heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop using the R410A inside multiport minichannel tubes were studied. The experiments were performed at the saturation temperature of 48℃ for mass fluxes of 50-500kg/m2s and the heat fluxes of 3-15kW/m2 for condensing of R410A. The test sections are double tube of counter-flow type; the refrigerant is condensed inside of test tube by heat exchange with cooling water in the annular side. The pressure drop across in the test section was directly measured by a differential pressure transducer. The effect of heat flux, mass flux, and vapor qualities on the heat transfer coefficient and frictional pressure gradient are discussed.
