Historically, the square is usually the place that holds the most memorable events in the city. In this regard, the square can be understood as sphere of public opinion. As Jürgen Habermas pointed out, only a few upper class people can participate in the formation of public opinion in the past time, but today whoever can express and share his opinion in daily life with the development of the Internet. This study assumed blog"s evaluation of public square where public opinion generated can be microscopic discourse because it is expressed from personal experience and opinion. Jeonju Pungnam-mun Square was built in 2012 for the marketing of cities and it was used as a place that holds the civic planned cultural events of Jeonju. However the blog posts show more diverse urban events and public opinion though the square. Blog Search in the search technique in Naver was used to look at the discouse in the diverse issue such as Personal, Political, Social, Economic, Cultural, and Historical discourse in Pungnam-mun square. Even if the political, social gathering in the square is not happened frequently, microscopic discourse that begins in the individual articles have enough potential to be developed to public opinion through the ideological debate or consensus. Ultimately, the public discourse formation is still expected to happen through the public square with the interaction of microscopic discourse in the personal Internet communication media.
