The purpose of this paper is to explore how to integrate personality education into the teaching of “Introduction to the Basic Principles of Marxism” with the “Hehe(和合)” theory as the center.
“Introduction to the Basic Principles of Marxism(馬克思主義基本原理概論)” is a required course of ideological and political theory course for Chinese college students. Personality determines a person"s way of life, affecting a person"s physical and mental health, happiness, career success, in a sense, can even say that the fate of a person. College students are in the social individual life in the process of qualitative leap period, the value orientation in the crisis state, crossing and collision in the face of the world “cultural community”, and the confusion and transformation of new period, there will inevitably be a “mixed culture” phenomenon. In this social context, the values of college students also has many new features, is a manifestation of personality, highlighting the self value and self consciousness, there are also negative and decadent, contrary to the social mainstream values. How to deal with it effectively has become one of the problems to be solved today.
“Hehe(和合)” theory is the essence of Chinese traditional culture and an important part of the Chinese nation for thousands of years, is the pursuit of the realm, is the common aspiration of mankind at all times and in all countries. Its rich connotation can play an important role in personality education.
