This study verifies the relation between infant"s biotope factor & physical activity and physical growth & basic physical strength. With the subject of this study, male & female infants (7 years old class) of 5 years old in full attending 9 private kindergartens located in Seoul in 2016, the outcome of collecting & analyzing questionnaire of infant & parents, measurement of height/body weight and the data with method of measuring & assessing basic physical strength is as follows. First, verifying the difference in physical growth and the development of basic physical strength depending on the biotope factor of infants of 5 years old, no significant difference exists in height & body weight depending on gender, sleeping hours, regularity of breakfast and double income of parents. However, balance is higher if sleeping hours are longer and parents have double income, flexibility is higher if sleeping hours are longer and breakfast is regular. Further, agility is higher if sleeping hours are shorter and breakfast is irregular. Muscle endurance is higher in the case of female infant and longer sleeping hours. Power is higher in the case of male infant, longer sleeping hours and regular breakfast. Second, verifying the difference in physical growth and the development of basic physical strength depending on physical activity of infant of 5 years old, height is higher if physical activity after school is more and body weight is higher if infants play outside kindergarten less. The group with physical activity below 2 hours shows higher balance and the group which plays outside kindergarten below 2 hours shows higher flexibility. Flexibility is higher if infants spend more time for physical activity after school. Agility is higher if infants spend less time for physical activity after school and muscle endurance is higher if they spend more time for physical activity after school. Power is higher if group playing outside kindergarten below 2 hours spends more time for physical activity after school. Third, physical growth and the development of basic physical strength depending on the surroundings and the physical activity. Especially gender, regular breakfast and physical activity after school have huge effects.
