    The aim of this study is to examine the effect of changes in trade between Korea and Europe, as a result of the Korea-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA), on Korean logistics companies’efficiency and productivity and, based on that, to explore the potential future effect of Brexit on Korea’s logistics industry. This study used 2011, the year that the Korea-EU FTA took effect, as the intervening year, to analyze the performance of logistics companies in two four-year periods and examined the Korea-EU FTA’s effect on Korean logistics companies’ efficiency and productivity. The efficiency of the Korean logistics industry has declined since 2011, when the Korea-EU FTA took effect, except for in 2014. In addition, the trend of company productivity in the Korean logistics industry was increasing during 2007-2015. This study proposes strategies for long-term operations of Korean logistics companies considering the Korea-EU FTA’s effect.
