In Korea, only 17 years after entering the aging society in 2000, the proportion of the elderly people aged 65 or older reached 14% in August 2017. In particular, the ratio of single elderly and elderly couple households is expected to be 68.4% in 2013 and 70.3% in 2035, from 64.4% in 2000. In this study, we selected representative cases of towel style which is popular in the high density area (urban area) of the recently popular retirement housing complex (CCRC) and town style which is distributed in the low density area, layout plan, welfare support service and spatial plan accordingly. The purpose of this study is to analyze the distribution of Continuing Care Retirement Community(CCRC) in the United States among the cases of silver housing by the layout type, welfare support service and spatial composition, and to find ways to be introduced in Korea. In particular, we analyzed the type of tower and town cases in the Oregon area, one of the cities where American elderly people want to live the most after their retirement, and where various forms of CCRC are operating. Therefore, it can be seen that the consideration of the natural conditions of the area in which the facility is located serves as a major factor in ensuring the diversity of the service programs supported by the facility. Analysis and consideration of preference is a very important factor in constructing a unit generation plan with Independent living, assist living, memory care, wellness center and common space such as restaurant, library, beauty salon and so on. Finally, in order to apply it to our country, the needs of the local residents based on humanistic and natural environmental backgrounds in our country and services corresponding to the life cycle after 65 years of age should be sorted.
