    Objective: The aim of ‘Puppit’ is to provide virtual pet adoption experience for novice pet owners via both augmented reality (AR) and tangible user interaction (TUI). Background: Many people adopt pet as their family but they often face unexpected problems at the beginning of raising a pet due to lack of knowledge or experience. Method: We conducted semi-structured interviews with 2 animal care experts to identify mistakes first-time pet owners often make. Interview and diary studies with 3 dog owners were also performed to understand their desires and challenges related to pet-raising experience.
