The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of convention and exhibition center on local community. There is no debate as to the place of convention and exhibition in city and regional economic development. They generate local income, employment, and output, and increases the volume of economic activity occurring locally. Many cities and countries, therefore, have put forth systematic and multilateral efforts into being more competitive in it. This research endeavors to identify the effects of convention center on local community using reliable analysis and a confirmatory factor analysis to verify reliability and feasibility about them. Finally, we did a multiple regression analysis to analyze effect relationship between property factors of exhibition convention centers and of formation of local community. The key findings are; a) as for about locality of ones for formation of local community, it has found that three factors, convenience, culture and recreation, economic effects, have effects on the property factors about recognition of convention and exhibition centers by local residents. b) it has found that the convenience factor only has an effect on community characteristics. Finally, it has found that the factors of convenience and economic effects have effected on organism.
