This study aims to analyze causal relationships among airport infra-structures, tourism environments around the airport and visitor`s satisfaction focused on Cheongju international airport. Especially, the author conducted to suggest survival strategies for the local international airport. According to findings of this study, factor analysis was classified into 3 factors(indoor facilities and services of airport, tourism attractions and facilities around airport, transportation for access to the airport). In the result of verification of hypotheses, indoor facilities and services of the airport, tourism attractions and facilities around airport, transportation for access to the airport have significantly positive impacts on its visitor`s satisfaction. The causal relationship between tourism attractions and facilities around the airport and its visitor`s satisfaction represents an important meaning because this relationship almost had not been carried on in the past studies. The contribution of this study is that the author explored distinctive ways toward developmental directions for the local airport through a systemic classification on characters and relationships between the local airport and tourism environments around it.
