The closely related industry will be the distribution or logistics industry as we do our daily lives. The distribution industry is the area where we can solve the eating and drinking problems we need. Traditional retail industries include department stores or supermarkets that can be mentioned as typical examples. With the recent development of information and communication technology (ICT) included Internet of Things (IoT), there is a wind of change in the distribution industry. Amazon, a leading e-commerce company, has recently opened an Amazon Go, an unmanned market. In this paper, the background and status of unmanned stores are reviewed. We described the required skills and future prospects of unmanned market. Especially, we analyzed the Chinese market and the US market in relation to the unattended stores.
