People fervently hope and pray for fortune, prosperity of posterity, wealth, fame, health, and longevity. The main themes that revolve around these hopes can be summarized into wealth, fame, prosperity of posterity, and longevity. This research analyzed folk paintings containing characters and images representing happiness, prosperity, and longevity, and applied these symbols in embroidery and prints for nine different designs for 100th-day celebration Jeogori. The three designs incorporating the character for fortune took the character as their base motif, and added imagery representing happiness in the form of cloud, money, lotus, and peach patterns in their embroidery and print designs. The three designs based on the character for prosperity used the character and added imagery representing fame in the form of cloud, fish, crab, and lotus patterns in their embroidery and print designs. The three designs based on the character for longevity took the character as their base and incorporated imagery representing longevity in the form of peach, constellations, lotus, mushrooms, and butterfly patterns in their embroidery and print designs. These 100th-day celebration Jeogori designs represent wishing health and happiness as a child removes its newborn jeogori and celebrates its 100th day, and as is the case of the newborn Jeogori, will be a symbolic part of the traditional celebration ceremony and a memorable keepsake
