초록· 키워드

In this study, to verify the electromagnetic safety and power saving effect of indoor smart LED luminaire in apartment building where residents actually live, the living lab concept was used to measure and evaluate the electromagnetic wave, electric power and the actual condition of use by questionnaire. Smart LED luminaire consists of a microwave sensor module and a 0-10 step dimming module. First, the power density of the electromagnetic wave was measured by connecting the Horn antenna and the frequency analyzer. As a result, the maximum intensity was 3.23E-6 [W/㎡] at the lower part of the sensor. It was confirmed that the measurement result is safer than the human body maximum strength. Next, each 100 households equipped with smart LED luminaire and general LED luminaire were selected and the monthly average power per household was measured for four months. As a result, 209.6kWh and 204.6kWh were confirmed, respectively. In addition, the standby power of the household equipped with smart LEDs and general LEDs was measured and it was 8kWh and 6kWh respectively.
As a result of a survey, to find the cause of more power consumption in smart LEDs, we found that only 38.7% of respondents use dimming function. Therefore, in order to improve usage of smart LED luminaire, it is essential to promote its convenience and make familiar User interface so even the elders can easily use.
