The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of wearing and not wearing the knee sleeve to provide basic data on the development of the knee sleeve which can analyze gait pattern and improve gait ability. 16 subjects, age of 20’s, and 15 subjects, age of 60’s, were analyzed for the effect of wearing and not wearing the knee sleeve for blood lactate, blood glucose, steps, gait tempo, and heart rate when walking. Correlation analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between the number of pedestrians per minute and the number of walk-throughs per minute according to age. To verify the difference between the concentration of lactate in the blood and the level of blood sugar before and after walking, a double-variable analysis was performed. To verify the difference in changes in the cumulative number of pedestrians, walks per minute, and heart rate depending on age and whether or not knee protection was worn, a repeated double-variable analysis was performed. If statistically significant in the main effects of timing or in the main effects of treatment, a one-way analysis was performed to verify the differences between periods within each group, and a follow-up test was performed on the LSD. The statistical significance level was less than 5%. Both in their 20s and 60s showed no effects of blood lactation and interaction between timing and groups in blood sugar, depending on whether or not knee pads were worn when walking, and no significant differences between the groups over time.
