Cities are a projection of how people live. For a long time, cities have evolved through embracing the urban living. Cities can be seen as a product of a certain region"s history and culture that developed over time. Within this created space, citizens have been together to enjoy and to share their thoughts and ideas. These chain of activities lead to the development of another culture. Streets are one of the urban areas that are seen positive to the public. In addition, streets are a public good that not only provide the urban citizens with the basic urban structure, but also act as a space for the cultural activity to manifest. In such space, many lives and culture are embedded and practiced to the extent that certain vibes are created and felt. These spaces reflect the spatial elements of the urban citizen"s ordinary lives and their culture which collects the vibes that work to attract the tourists into the area, allowing them the opportunity to experience and learn the city. Therefore, this study aims to explore how the domestic New Town project of the 1990s affected the urban landscape and urban street planning. Through examining how the plans were categorized and how the street landscape changed, this study identifies the impact of these development plans on the region.
