The exchange of languages premised the exchange of cultures. The interchanges of languages between Arabic and Romanic languages also presupposed the interchanges of cultures.
It is also a natural phenomena that the interchanges of cultures leads the exchange of languages.
In this paper, I study the process of the exchange of Arabic and Romanic languages that concentrates around the languages of Iberian Peninsula and Sicily.
I choose these area for my research because these area were the main parts for the exchange of cultures between Arab and European society in the medieval Mediterranean area.
To realize this object, this paper is concerned with the historical events surrounding Arabic rule in the Iberian Peninsula and Sicily to provide a context for the linguistic concerns. and to study the processes of languages diffusion and the type of the language exchange and its’ effect.
The development of the Mediterranean civilization has processed through the repeated seesaw games between Christ civilization and Islam civilization.
Therefore I also expect to see the mutual influences and its’ dependencies among the Mediterranean civilizations through the exchanges between Arabic and romance languages.
