The purpose of this study is to develop recreational water exercise for the people with arthritis to participate in recreational group activity that may improve their sense of well-being. People with arthritis can get caught in a cycle of pain, stress, depression, and isolation. This water exercise with provide an opportunity to bereak his cycle at multiple points. A friendly and supportive atmosphere is provided to meet new friends and new activities without fear of failure. Progress in the aquatic exercise may also lead heading and therapeutic benefits in arthritis. This aquatic exercise can help decrease pain and stiffness and help improve joint flexibility. The methods of this study are engaged by analysis of literatures. The results of this study are as follows;1. Goals of the water exercise in this study are to decrease pain, stiffness, feelings of depression and isolation, and to improve or maintain joint flexibility, muscle strength, balance and coordination, and to reduce muscle weakness caused by muscle disuse.2. The recreational water exercise are as follows;walking exercise, breathing and chest expansion, neck exercise, trunk stretching exercises, shoulder exercise, wrist and finger exercises, hip and knee exercises, ankle and toe exercises, lower extremity and abdominal exercises.
