Now the globalization of culture stands for having mutual exchange as different cultures coexist by having diversity rather than the world sharing one homogeneous culture. Thus, in these times when the native cultural characteristics of a nation is being emphasized, the research activity for encouraging social atmosphere of precisely understanding and respecting Asian culture is adding its importance than any other times in the past. The purpose of this study was placed on newly highlighting the value of Asian dance culture at the point when the interest toward diversity of Asian culture is being increased while the field of researches related to Asian culture is gradually being extended and becoming in progress. Now the research in the field of dance in the Asia region must be extended further and be presented with objectives. This would be searching for identity of Asian culture and is a necessary task from the fact that it can be presented as one alternative on western hemisphere based culture. In result, it would be helpful in establishing academic value of Asian dance along with social and economic value and status. Also, various expected results and utilization plans through Asian dance culture have been presented. For its expected results, it would have the far reaching effect of sending Asian dance culture into the world in many-sided aspects. Also, it can prepare a basis for securing communication and understanding on Asian culture and our culture as well as the identity of our culture. In result, it could be utilized for establishing basic materials and theoretic basis for humanity based promotion of korean dance by newly highlighting the Asian dance culture.
