This study was undertaken to assess the effects of brain healing therapy(BHT) on stress and emotional stability, and to prepare fundamental data on BHT. This study measured levels of blood pressure, pulse and electroencephalograms between pre- and post-BHT on 20 people who live in Busan from February 3rd, 2013 to March 31st, 2013, a period of 57 days. The collected data were analysed with the SPSS package program (Ver. 18.0). The results were as follows: 1. Systolic and diastolic blood pressure were lower at post-BHT as compared to pre-BHT level with statistically significant differences. 2. The pulse rate showed a statistically significant difference between pre- and post-BHT levels in patients over 40 years of age. 3. The level of attention quotient was increased post-BHT with statistically significant differences between pre- and post-BHT on the right and left sides of the brain. The level of emotional quotient was increased in post BHT with statistically significant differences between pre- and post-BHT in the overweight and obesity group by BMI. The level of stress quotient was increased on the left and right sides of the brain post-BHT with statistically significant differences on the left side of the brain between pre- and post-BHT in all weight groups, and on the right side of the brain between pre- and post-BHT in the overweight and obesity group by BMI.
