Traditional perceptions of art make the appreciation of media arts difficult. Multimedia works of art are unlikely to become objects of aesthetic reflection and investigation if they are approached as a connoisseur would analyze a painting. Only when we modify our approach, is multimedia revealed as an important part of the illusions. Advanced computer technology has created a new paradigm for art. Media artist uses technological media and visually transfer those technological elements into their artworks. Through this constructive use of technology, media artists, hermeneutically investigating ontological conditions of new forms, can create a new paradigm for the arts of our time. Installation works of media art has decentered the AURA of art work itself. The human body using as an artist and a viewer has become media like a performing art. The virtual image of media art makes the viewer subject. Therefore illusions may lead us to understand and discover the issues that will define media art and culture.
