The Unity of Being underlies The Celtic Twilight in various ways. It is expressed by the imagery of twilight, pantheism, the Great Memory. The imagery of twilight, playing an implicit role in revealing the thought, helps to join a physical realm to a spiritual realm; pantheism in this work becomes an important means to show the thought; the Great Memory in it is related with the Unity of Being, which pursues monism. The Celtic Twilight is firmly based on the Unity of Being, Yeats’s representative thought.
