Recently farm products theft is terrible in rural area, and Gyeongsangbuk-do is not exclusive. That may be caused by lacking security capabilities of the communities and lacking awareness of farmers, the victims. It is difficult for little police power to effectively cope with farm products theft in this situation, despite of various countermeasures. Besides, lacking security equipment and fixed human resources for security make it difficult to investigate cases and to collect evidence. Especially it is hard to secure witnesses for the cases happened at night or dawn. Considering such problems, this study saw the status of farm products theft in the cases in Gyeongsangbuk-do, and presented the concrete solutions.
