Background and Objective : Atopic dermatitis is a type of dermatitis, an inflammatory, relapsing, non-contagiousand itchy skin disorder and affecting up to 30% of children in the Korea. In this study, Huini-san, which ismentioned in Shanghanlun(傷寒論), and acupunture treatment on Atopic Disease was investigated. Methods : We have classified the patients according to the Shanghanlun six meridian patterns diagnostic systemand the patients are treated with Huini-san. The severity of Atopic dermatitis was evaluated by SCORAD index,visual analogue scale(VAS) and pictures. Results : After the treatment the SCORAD index and VAS of 2 patients dicreased significantly. Conclusions : Huini-san and acupunture treatment has improved the symptoms of Atopic dermatitis in this study.
