Incheon should take advantage of geopolitical location and FTA. Through this, Incheon can be activated the economy. The strengths of Incheon are the central city of Northeast Asia, retention of national industrial complex and key industry, for example, automotive, semiconductor, steel, petrochemical industry, etc.
Opportunities for Trade and Environment in Incheon are tendency global economic recovery, KOREA-EU FTA,KOREA-USA FTA and activate trends in processing trade.
Effective use of the FTA is required in order to take advantage of economic development in Incheon. Through this, Incheon can develop international competitiveness. Incheon should promote development through the processing trade and using FTA business model. As a result, Incheon is needed to build East-Asian production network through the parts and materials industry. Incheon may need to promote industry and products through trade with the United States and EU countries.
