This article addresses issues pertaining to the evaluation of documents produced by thebeneficiary in conformance to the terms of the letter of credit, using a strict compliancestandard.
After a historical development of strict compliance cases was presented and reviewed, thispater resented trends in the application of strict compliance standards based on internationalstandard banking practices.
