In this paper,we propose a method to cluster digital home phtos associated with user-centric functoonalities,which are event/situation based [hoto clustering, category based photo clustering, and person-identity basde hoto clustering and in dexing. The main idea of the user-centric photo album is to enable wsers to oranize and browse their photos along the semantically meningful axes that are situation,category, and person-identity.Also,these functionalities can be more effective when conveying as a new format that carries metadata alongwith actual photos. We call this 'Photo Player MAF'and its background and several usage scenarios are explained for showing its usefulness in actual applications. the experiment results show that the proposed methods would be useful to organize a photo album based on human perception.
