The One Belt and One Road strategy was first proposed in 2013 by visiting Central Asia and Southeast Asia. This was promoted as one of the important national strategies in the 13th Five-Year Plan of China, and now concrete results are beginning to emerge. A representative example is the launch of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and the announcement of specific investment plans. It is currently registered as a member country of 55 countries, and the bank started operating from December 25, 2015. The One Belt and One Road strategy is a mid- to long-term strategy because infrastructure development is a key business, so it may be premature to discuss the success of this project right now. However, identifying the progress on a one-to-one basis and making economic judgments about the areas affected by this project can play an important role in devising countermeasures against future positive and negative impacts. Based on this consciousness, this paper examines the progress of economic relations and industrial cooperation between China and Central Asian countries. Based on this analysis, we will examine the sustainability of One Belt and One Road issues, as well as potential problems and whether they can be overcome.
