Recently phenomena of men's positive 'making up their look' became more prominent. In general inclination for making-up was considered as appropriate to females socially but more recently social perception on men's image and appearance has undergone much change. Such phenomena are result of release of men's emotional constraint and change in criteria for looking at men by society. It may be stated as a result of more diversification and individualization in modern society. With the change in value judgement of society men no more afford to be neglectful of sprucing themselves up. Many men are acting in order to pursuing image unique to themselves. In study of men's clothes there were preceding studies on feminizing trend of men's clothes but no such studies can be found on metro-sexual phenomena. The purpose of this study is to find out phenomena and trend of metro-sexual appearing in contemporary society and also to find out special features of life style of men in their twenties and thirties and management of their external appearance. Also it is aimed through this study to contribute something to analysis and forecasting of change in men's value judgement and change in management of their external appearance in future.
