This study have two purposes. The first is to examine the relationship between hotel and regional resident’s attitude. The second is how to contribute to regional development in the region. Most of tourism development in the region effect regional development. This study shows that hotel development in Cheongju effected region’s residents’ cognition about region’s economy and hotel’s benefits. The results of structural equation method implied that residents after developing hotel in Cheongju effected positive relations. Hotel development in this result is based on region in perspective of regional economy and contributed to residents’ life quality.
