Korea has recently expanded its cooperation works with Thailand in many areas. Among the various types of international law, the bilateral agreements between the two countries are the main legal infrastructures for the international cooperation. Then, Korea and Thailand are commonly the members of the Korea-ASEAN FTA. This preferential trade agreement has provided better environments for the economic cooperation for the two countries. They are also the members of many multinational agreements in the international society such as the rules for the WTO and the UN system. Korea and Thailand have to improve the legal infrastructure for better cooperation in many more fields. The international laws for the cooperation must be related to the domestic laws of each country. Therefore, each country has to consider the improvement of the domestic laws and even the cooperation in the legal field regarding new possible cooperation. They can share the legal information on the common possible cooperation issues. For example, Thailand is becoming one of the ODA donor countries reducing the assistance from the international society. Korea was in the similar step and can share with Thailand its experience as a donor country from the former recipient. The legal cooperation and exchanges between the two countries on the ODA issues must be revised. The economic and other relationship can play an important role in cooperation in the legal field to make more effective solutions.
