The purpose of this study is to investigate the space operation and use of urban regeneration support centers and propose minimum facility standards and implications for smoothly performing the functions of the centers.
For the research, the space status of urban regeneration support centers was investigated and the survey and interview was conducted to the officials and users of the centers on satisfaction and improvement of the center"s location and environment by space. In addition, the space-specific plans and areas of similar facilities recently constructed were reviewed.
The findings and implications of the study: The urban regeneration support centers need uniform planning by center as the size and space of the facilities vary widely from center to center. The composition of two full-time and three part-time people is appropriate, and the office space area requires a minimum of 50m2. In addition, a conference room for 10 or more people and a seminar room for 30 or more people should be planned separately. In addition, from the stage of the project planning, it is necessary to secure the site of the center project through active efforts by the administrative agency, and to consider remodeling and supplementing measures using the existing on-site support centers. The limitations of this study are that research targets are limited to some areas, and it is believed that further expansion of research areas and analysis from various perspectives will be necessary.
