Rapid economic growth and the development of medicine, the population of South Korea is aging rapidly. Recently, the full-fledged retirement of the baby boom generation has led to a new change in the elderly. Active Senior has emerged. Unlike the previous generation, Silver, the Active Senior generation is a generation that wants continuous and diverse social activities for new self-realization as the second act of life. However, the policy of creating a healing environment at the welfare level of senior citizens has not met the emotional needs of the generations. These problems have led to increased qualitative interest in the healing environment for users. The purpose of this study is to identify the design factors of the healing environment that can satisfy the emotional needs of the active senior generation, and to present the implications necessary for efficient project implementation in the form of welfare for the elderly, thereby improving the quality of old age. The scope of the study was selected as the case analysis research targets for Haengchon Gong-tong, Haengchon-Kang Village Master Plan. The method of research was investigated in literature. Through a literature survey, we set the criteria for design elements of the healing environment and analyzed the categories of the healing environment in the case analysis target. Based on these results, the following results were obtained: In the Active Senior generation, the healing environment is a need due to social characteristics and a strong desire for Active Aging. The design elements of a good healing environment have reduced stress and increased social participation, but the opposite has led to a reluctance to use the facility.
