Culture is the intrinsic content of language, and language is the carrier of culture. Chinese language is the symbol of communication in Chinese culture. And it is also a style and method for the Chinese people to understand and to recognize the world. Therefore, language is a unique manifestation of ethnicity and it reflects the most important value and significance of a nation.
In a long course of Chinese history, people have pursued beautiful things, and carried out research on value of life. This article through “The Rise of the Book of Songs” to explore the cultural implication of Chinese animal and plant words, the results show: it was discovered that the words contain Chinese’s idea of a "Harmony between man and nature". For example, a balance of auspicious omens, an ideal idea like a healthy and peaceful life, a sense of morality like encouraging good and punishing evil, the aesthetic sense of the pursuit of a noble and beautiful personality, a lifestyle that values ethical order in the family. Under the influence of the philosophy of heaven and man, all cultural concepts and aesthetic concepts are concretely shaped.
