The objective of this study was to analyze the facility user’s needs to utilize the indoor air quality (IAQ) information and to manage the IAQ in multi-use facilities. For this purpose, The survey was conducted on 161 facility users of daycare centers, elderly care facilities, and underground complexes. The survey questions were composed of the causes of air pollution, the degree of satisfaction of IAQ in the facility, and the scope of IAQ information. The results show that the degree of interest in IAQ of facility users was very high. 79.5% of the respondents responded that the IAQ of the facility affects their visits. However, only 8.7% of respondents said they were provided with IAQ information. Also, 68.3% of the respondents hoped to receive IAQ information directly from the field or through mobile applications. In order to provide effective IAQ information, this study suggests the need to provide IAQ information at the facility site with the use of mobile applications reflecting the needs of facility users.
