The purpose of this study is to analyze the perception of criminal safety and behavioral characteristics through the questionnaire of middle-aged single-person households. In this study, it was found that the types of crime considered serious were crime committed at night, crime against person and burglary. The reason for this result was thought that the behavioral characteristics of leaving home a lot of time and returning home late at night, and the recent increasing situation in violent crimes against single-person households.
