Front bumper assembly is one of the most important design parts as the face of the vehicle. With this main role as the design part, there are many required functions and performance on this part by assembling sub-parts. For example, RADGrille will be worked as the cooling part for ICE (Internal Combustion Engine), Energy Absorber is essential for the RCAR & small impact performance and also many sensors and lamps will be needed for the safety performance with positioning function. Thanks to many sub-parts on front bumper assembly, we can enjoy lots of functions on vehicles. However it causes the weight increase of front bumper assembly and this makes the sagging of bumper.
To overcome this problem, we will show you the engineering guides for the good structure which will make prevention of the bumper sagging issues with this study which based on the analysis of our experience with developed front bumpers.
