Absorbable chitosan (Cs)/starch (St) powder offers a wide range of attractive benefits such as biocompatibility, easy handling, blood coagulability. In this study, we fabricated to use as a powder-type absorbable hemostatic agent such as CaCl<sub>2</sub> and thrombin. The crosslinked structure and morphology were determined using FTIR and SEM.
