COVID-19 is an acute respiratory disease caused by the RNA virus SARS-CoV-2. Since its first outbreak in China, the disease has rapidly spread to more than 175 countries around the world. The WHO (World Health Organization) declared it as a public health emergency and assessed it as a pandemic. In addition, the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic is continuously evolving all over the world. Effective treatments are still in urgent need, but currently, no drug with stable performance has been found for COVID-19. Here we introduce the promising strategy composed of two stages for development of therapeutic antibodies of COVID-19.
