During a sheet forming process, each material point undergoes a specific loading history depending on its position in the blank. Some points are subjected to proportional loading while others are subjected to more complex loading histories. It is generally accepted that model that can accurately predict both proportional and non-proportional loading behaviors lead to better forming simulation results. In this study, a distortional plasticity model, namely, the so-called Homogeneous Anisotropic Hardening (HAH) model, is employed for the purpose of improving forming simulations.
