3D printing is recognized as the core technology of the 4th industrial revolution, and the 3D printing market is showing continuous growth. It is widely used in all industries and is growing significantly. It is now moving beyond the introductory period into the stable technology application stage. In the beauty field, studies on 3D printing are being conducted, but they are not sufficient. With this in mind, this study attempted to integrate 3D printing technology into the beauty field by applying various technologies. Design work is time-consuming when stencils on the market are produced manually, there are limitations in design, and difficulty with doing sophisticated work. In order to overcome these shortcomings, the goal is to study the stencil engraving technique using 3D printing and present it as a work method. For this work, FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) method 3D printing was used to develop a stencil based on the experimental results for stable output by performing an output thickness stability test suitable for stencil production and a stability test for each filament material. By doing so, this study aims to be a basic study on the use and application of efficient 3D printing in the beauty field. As a result of the two stability tests, the output thickness test was found to be 0.8 mm, and the output stacked four times was most suitable for use as a stencil. Flexible material was selected for testing filament material. Flexible material is a synthetic material made of rubber. It was suitable for expressing stencil bends because the bends are easily made, even after printing. The biggest advantage in making a stencil printout using 3D printing is that it can easily implement the stencil of a complex and creative design. In addition, infinite replication is possible with only a modeling design. It is considered that the development of stencils using 3D printing in this way is meaningful because it applied advanced media technology into stencils in the beauty field in terms of new materials and methods.
