The creative industries with successive layers of the concentric circles defined as the ideas and influences of creative activities diffuse outwards are changing with the development of technology and new media. This study explored the changes in dance and fashion in the new media age through literature and case studies. The fusion characteristics of dance and fashion based on 'body-movement' were reviewed, and as a result, material and commercial fashion was being reorganized into a cultural industry, acquiring non-material and spiritual values. I would like to argue that the convergence of dance and fashion, centering the lived body, can be the starting point of a productive discussion for the sustainability of fashion by converting the fashion of social context into the fashion behavior of the individual. Furthermore, this research is meaningful in seeking a sustainable fashion and cultural industry ecosystem by providing various perspectives in satisfying human inner emotions and desires.
