With the spread of COVID-19 infection, the new semester classes at A University were postponed from April 2020, and online classes started in May. I created a group with a message application for a seminar class of Chinese international students who entered A university in 2020 and conducted a survey on the web on the current situation. Based on the results of this survey, we conducted online instruction for seminar classes about three weeks before the start of online classes. The purpose of conducting online instruction was the following four. 1. To improve the information acquisition situation. 2. To support learning Japanese. 3. To provide regular student consultation. 4. To prepare for online classes. In this paper, I focused on the results of a survey on the web conducted after conducting online instruction and examined the methods of online instruction necessary for international students immediately after entering university.
