In this paper, out of 36 finals, I examined the finals of which actual sound differs from Hany? P?ny?n Romanization and the vowels that have multiple sounds. For this purpose, a survey was conducted to find out the actual sound value of vowel o of the finals ong, iong, and vowel o following labial initials and the real sound value of ending -o of the finals ao and iao. 24 Chinese students and 44 Korean college students learning Chinese answered the questionnaire. In addition, I examined the real sound of retroflex ending -?, the main vowel [e] of finals ie, ue and the main vowel [?] of finals ian, uan. In Mandarin, the standard Chinese language, 23 consonants are used including the 21 consonants used as initials, and the consonants [ŋ] and [?] used only as ending. Besides, 17 vowels are used including 13 monophthongs [?], [?], [i], [y], [u], [e], [?], [?], [o], [a], [?], [?], [?] and 4 diphthongs [ai], [ei], [ao], [ou]. Tone is also a phoneme in Chinese. There are 4 tones in Mandarin. Besides, neutral tone is also being used.
