This study investigated the effect of phlorofucofuroeckol A (PeA) isolated from Ecklonia cava against inflammatory response in the tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)/interferon-γ (IFN-γ) stimulated keratinocytes and a TPA-stimulated ear edema mice model. The result showed PeA reduced the generation of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) without the cytotoxicity at the used all concentrations in TNF-α/IFN-γ -stimulated keratinocytes.
