The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of Sasa borealis extracts (SBE) against andropause. The TM3 mouse leydig cell line was used as in vitro cell model treated with hydrogen peroxide to decrease testosterone (T) level by oxidative damages. T level increased with the SBE treatment in a dose dependent manner by enhancing steroidogenic enzymes such as CYP11A2 (P<0.05).
