The present study investigated the anti-oxidant and anti-obesity effects of Centella asiatica hot-water extract. Total polyphenol content (TPC) and radical scavenging activity (RSA), which are antioxidant indices, were 14.4±0.67 mg GAE/g DM and 82.6±0.31%, respectively, and lipase activity inhibitory (LAI) of an anti-obesity index was 68.1± 0.90%, indicating anti-oxidant and anti-obesity effects.
