Glucoraphanin can be hydrolyzed into sulforaphane with biological activity under the action of myrosinase. Sulforaphane has strong anti-cancer activity, however, the effect and the mechanism of anti-obesity activity are not yet clear. In this study, we evaluated the anti-obesity effects of broccoli sprouts powder rich in glucoraphanin, mustard seed powder with high activity myrosinase, and mustard and broccoli mixture powder (MBP) on 3T3-L1 adipocytes, respectively.
